![]() ![]() It's not just that, people say Barney sends the wrong message to kids because they only teach that everything can be solved with magic and imagination and that's not how the real world it. ![]() THERE IS NO SUCH EPISODE!!!!! He has a song about the dangers of talking to strangers. I remember seeing a couple of reviews about the dangers of"A Stranger is A Friend You Haven't Met" episode. That was depressing! I'll never forget when Chip got all angry when Baby Bop accidentally busted his tower. I remember there was almost an entire episode dedicated to Steven losing his favourite stuffed animal. I wish I was that innocent and happy all the time! And saying Barney is one dimensional because it is just happiness is plain false. B: why not have a happy show? Every show for kids tries to be as happy as can be!!!! There's lots of bad things in the world today, so good thing Barney can provide the happy escape that is much needed. What I really hate is when people say Barney is one dimensional because everybody is too happy all the time and there's no seriousness involved. because I watched Barney and listened to his lessons, I was way ahead of most students by the time I got into school. "Why doesn't Barney teach things like counting and not dangers of drugs and everything?" Tell me, what kind of 3-year-old is hooked on drugs? Give an example of a toddler that does not need to be taught how to count. That is because it is a juvenile show! Many kid shows are like that! Barney is no different. Everybody talks in cheesy and juvenile voices. Unlike, say, Sesame Street, Barney's age range is smaller like under the age of 7. But the older episodes are the good ones. It was on the air for almost 20 years and got very repetitive and stale the last half of his run. You don't even know what Barney contains!!! Something I will say is that Barney overstayed his welcome. You don't remember what it is like being a kid that young. The main reason being that everybody is too "cool" or too "mature." "I can't watch Barney because I'm too cool!" You don't understand that it is a kid's show only. Riff (Baby Bop's dinosaur cousin) has given her one of his very cool nicknames "Baby Boppity Bop", which were also taken from "Mr.Barney has gained reception as being one of the worst TV shows ever.Baby Bop's brother, BJ, frequently calls her "sissy".Her name is based on the words "Boppity-bop" from the song " Mr.Unknown Stand-in ( Barney Live! World Tour - A Celebration!) (2015).Her design has remained this way since then. In Season 3, Baby Bop was redesigned slightly so that her jaw could move. When she made her debut in " The Backyard Show", she was slighty shorter to better suit her age of two (and later three) years old. Baby Bop also has rather large eyelashes, and a tuft of hair beneath her crest.īaby Bop's general appearance has gone through several changes over the years. Her colors are an inverse of Barney's purple and green color scheme, sporting a green body with purple-pink spots. She has an elephant doll named Nelly.īaby Bop is known for wearing a pink bow in her hair and pink ballet slippers on her feet. One of her favorite animals at the zoo is an elephant. She is an avid dancer, and has taken many ballet classes to pursue this hobby.īaby Bop's favorite food is macaroni and cheese, but she still likes many other foods such as apples and bananas, popcorn, and even pizza. She loves tea parties, and will try to host them with as many of her friends as she can. ![]() Baby Bop's favorite toy doll is her stuffed teddy bear, something she loves almost as much as her blanket. She loves to carry her yellow blanket around and is almost never even seen without it, calling it her "blankey". Whereas Barney is outgoing but down-to-earth, Baby Bop is very shy but can be ecstatic at times due to her young age. Originally, Baby Bop was two years old, but turned three in " Look at Me, I'm 3!".īaby Bop made her initial debut in The Backyard Show and she has been on the show ever since then.īaby Bop is like many precocious children her age. According to the co-creator to Barney, Sheryl Leach, Baby Bop was created as a foil character to Barney. ![]()
